Students Wanted for Quantum Science Camp

Dates:  July 10–23, 2022

Eligible:  High school seniors, college freshman, and teachers

Location:  Casper College

A few fully-funded spots are still available for Wyoming students to attend the Quantum Science Camp this summer in Casper! This is an all-expenses paid opportunity and there are stipends and professional credits for teachers.

To be held at Casper College, this camp is a unique opportunity for high school seniors, college freshmen, and high school or college teachers who are energized to study and use quantum science. It will be staffed by professors from the Institute for Quantum Science & Engineering at Texas A&M.

According to their website, camp participants “will delve into selected principles of quantum science in the first week and into applications of quantum science to the study of quantum biological systems in the second week. Science and the scientific method of investigation will underscore the process used by students to give scientific validity to their work in the classroom, laboratory, and group settings. Special guest lecturers include members from the National Academy of Sciences and other world-renowned scientific organizations.”
