What: 2024 UW Teton STEM Academy
Where: University of Wyoming, Laramie, WY
When: Sunday, June 16th through Sunday, June 23rd.
Who is eligible? Rising 9th, 10th and 11th graders.
(Students who will be entering 9th, 10th and 11th grade in the fall of 2024.)

As part of the application process, students will need to upload the following:
- A 1000-word essay the addresses the following: 1) why the applicant is interested in attending the University of Wyoming Teton STEM Academy; 2) what the applicant hopes to gain from this experience, how it will help the applicant in the future and why the applicant should be selected to attend this camp; and 3) two of the three following prompts: a) describe a moment in your past that sparked your interest in STEM, b) explain which field (chemistry, biology, engineering, physics, math, etc.) you think will have the most impact on humans’ journey to Mars and why, c) describe an aspect of technology that impacts your everyday life and discuss both the positive and negative impacts of that technology
- An unofficial copy of the student’s most recent report card. (A scanned copy or screen shot is fine; however the students name and reporting period must be clear.)
- The name and contact information (email) of two teacher recommenders.
The 2024 Teton STEM Academy will run Sunday June 16 – Sunday June 23. The camp will be for rising 9th, 10th, 11th grade students from Wyoming.
