Summer 2026 camp dates: July 12 – 19
A 1000-word essay the addresses the following: 1) why the applicant is interested in attending the University of Wyoming Teton STEM Academy; 2) what the applicant hopes to gain from this experience, how it will help the applicant in the future and why the applicant should be selected to attend this camp; and 3) two of the three following prompts: a) describe a moment in your past that sparked your interest in STEM, b) explain which field (chemistry, biology, engineering, physics, math, etc.) you think will have the most impact on humans’ journey to Mars and why, c) describe an aspect of technology that impacts your everyday life and discuss both the positive and negative impacts of that technology
The 2025 Teton STEM Academy will run Sunday July 12 – Sunday July 19. The camp is for rising 9th, 10th, 11th grade students.
