Funding is awarded on a rolling basis, and applications may be submitted at any time until available funds have been exhausted.

Funding of up to $500 per team is available to support K-12 robotics and technology teams across Wyoming. Awards may be used to purchase materials, equipment, and supplies; support travel to competitions, events, and showcases; and facilitate hands-on learning activities involving robotics, drones, artificial intelligence (AI), CubeSats and space technology, Arduino-based electronics and programming, and other related STEM and emerging technology projects.

REQUIREMENTS FOR FUNDING

• Teams must be located in Wyoming and primarily serve Wyoming K-12 students.
• Funding recipients agree to acknowledge support from the Wyoming NASA Space Grant Consortium when appropriate.
• Following competitions, events, or major project activities, teams will be asked to submit a brief report to the Wyoming NASA Space Grant office to help fulfill NASA reporting requirements.

APPLICATION SUBMISSION

An application consists of either a completed TECH GRANT FUNDING REQUEST FORM (preferred)
OR a short document (about 1 page) that includes the following information:

• Applicant name, e-mail address, and affiliation
• Brief description of the team, program, or project and any anticipated competitions, events, or showcases.
• Expected number of participants (if known), including K-5 students, middle school students, high school students, educators, undergraduate or graduate students, parents, and members of the public.
• Summary and brief justification of the anticipated budget, including the amount requested from Wyoming NASA Space Grant.
