Own It strives to recognize women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) at the University of Wyoming. The event and award serves to help increase the visibility of an often overlooked group in STEM, which can be fundamental in encouraging women to participate in science.
Own It! 2025 is scheduled for Thursday, February 20th
This networking event, hosted by Women in STEM and open to everyone, celebrates the achievements of individuals in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) at the University of Wyoming and in the surrounding community. Join us for an evening featuring a speaker presentation, engaging speed networking sessions, and opportunities to connect over heavy hors d’oeuvres and beverages. On-site childcare with STEM activities (hosted by the Innovation Wyrkshop) will be available! We encourage attendees to fill out a highlights card to showcase personal accomplishments and contributions, which will be displayed during the event. We look forward to seeing you there!
