Own It strives to recognize women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) at the University of Wyoming. The event and award serves to help increase the visibility of an often overlooked group in STEM, which can be fundamental in encouraging women to participate in science.

Nominations are for women who exemplify the following:
- A woman student, STEM professional, faculty or community member who has made significant contributions to her field of research.
- A woman who demonstrates service, leadership and mentoring among her peer group.
- A woman who inspires teaching and learning among her community.
- And, a woman who is deserving of celebration.
You may nominate a colleague, a coworker, a student, or yourself!
In addition to nominations, you may sign up to display a poster or share a research or outreach highlight!

Help us celebrate phenomenal women in STEM!Nominees may be undergraduate students, graduate students, STEM professionals, faculty, staff, or community members who identify as women.
Nominations will be accepted in the following categories:
Research: A woman who has made significant contributions to her field of research.
Service: A woman who demonstrates service, leadership and mentoring among her peer group.
Teaching: A woman who inspires teaching and learning among her community.
Overall: A woman who is deserving of celebration!
